Modern cities are experiencing economic declination according to sharp growth, and a lot of urban renewal programs are being proceeded so as to overcome problems of unused area’s image and abandoned spaces. “Culture” and “Creative experiment” operated at art creative spaces is a considerable ability that could be a part of creative urban renewal. Currently art creative spaces are being changed to further public art spaces under precondition of such cultural and artistic power by utilizing heritages of modern industry. The context and identity of industrial area can provide exotic experiences and education that are able to be gotten only from this area, and various programs linked with areas and arts along with cultural activities are shown as reminding the area’s attraction further. Therefore, this study had an intention of researching and analyzing on how the art creative space utilizing modern industry’s heritages embodied any program’s characteristics and design methods by looking into utilization value and spatial elements of modern industry’s heritages after analyzing purposes and strategies of art creative spaces that liked industrial spaces with art creative ones.
