With the coming of new migrants from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in large numbers since the 1980s，the associations of new Chinese migrants in Singapore emerge as the times require. These associations of new Chinese migrants grow rapidly and then play an important role in Singapore’s local community. The thesis explains the emergence background of the associations of new Chinese migrants in Singapore firstly, then expounds the establishment and development of the associations of new Chinese migrants, and then on this basis , probes into the social function of the associations of new Chinese migrants. Lastly, the existing problems and development trends of the associations of new Chinese migrants in Singapore are pointed out in the conclusion.
