This paper describes the results of work completed at Leicester within the Collaborating for Success in Systems Biology EPSRC funded hopping award project ”Modelling and Measurements of Cochlear Gain Control”. In this report, a 1D cochlear model, based on Linear Fractional Transformations (LFTs), is given. The LFT modeling framework allows one for the determination of stability margins (robustness analysis) with respect to variations and/or uncertainties in the system parameters.
