Laoz’s thought is complicated among the various concepts. So it is needed to explain the various concepts more clearly and simply. I devised an idea which draw two figures showing the Tao of Nature(天地之道) and the Tao of Saint (聖人之道) & the Tao of Maintenance(治世之道).
At three previous articles, I have studied separately ‘the Tao of Nature · the Tao of Saint · the Tao of Government’. Subsequently step by step, I made ‘Four basic concepts’ ; Meo妙(Sourcing)ㆍKeo?(Accomplishing)ㆍSaeng生(Life)ㆍSa死(Death) and ‘Four key concepts’ ; Heyn(玄) · Il(一) · Mu無ㆍYu有 for 〈figure of Laoz’s thought〉, and have new interpretation for Laoz’s thought by 〈figure the Tao of Nature〉 and 〈figure the Tao of Saint & the Tao of Maintenance〉. But, at this article, I study gathering them, and relations of them and the ideal state of ‘the Tao of Nature = the Tao of Saint = the Tao of Government’.
The concepts of ‘Tao of Natureㆍthe Tao of Saintㆍthe Tao of Maintenance’ were very useful in my study for Laoz’s thought. Going a step further in my this study, by these three concepts, I try to newly interpret for Laoz’s branch thoughts ; Zhuangz’s thought · Yangzhou’s thought · Huanglao’s thought.

앞 논문들에서는 천지지도·성인지도·치세지도를 나누어서 살펴보았음에 반하여, 이 논문에서는 천지지도의 ‘자연 현상’ 그리고 성인지도와 치세지도의 ‘사회 현상’을 함께 연결지어 살펴본다. 그래서 천지지도ㆍ성인지도·치세지도의 관계를 함께 아울러서 살펴보고, ‘천지지도=성인지도=치세지도’라는 노자의 이상향을 새롭게 정리해 보았다.
그 핵심은 ‘有無相生하는 천지지도’가 “聖人은 小國寡民에게 ‘좁고 낮은 공공재’라는 소박한 無로 無爲之事와 不言之敎”라는 모범을 보이는 성인지도 그리고 “百姓은 ‘좁고 낮은 개별재’라는 소박한 有를 생산하고 소비하며 自化·自正·自富·自樸”으로 만족하고 살아가는 치세지도와 함께 어우러져서, 마침내 천지지도·성인지도·치세지도가 모두 일치하는 이상향을 이룩하게 된다는 것이다. 그래서 노자사상은 거창하고 드높게 고담준론하는 철학적 이념이 아니라, ‘좁고 낮은 공공재’라는 소박한 無와 ‘좁고 낮은 개별재’라는 소박한 有로 살아가는 小國寡民의 조촐하고 평범한 일상생활을 주장하는 생활철학이라는 것이다. 이에 매우 주의할 점은, 노자의 無爲而無不爲가 無를 중요하게 여기고 有를 비난하는 게 아니라는 것이다. 군주와 백성이 ‘화려하고 고급스런 無와 有’를 추구하지 않고 ‘조촐하고 소박한 생활태도’를 계속 유지해 가려면, 군주와 관료가 소박한 無로 모범(성인지도의 無爲)을 보이고, 백성이 그에 발맞추어 소박한 有에 만족(치세지도의 無不爲)하는 세상이 되어야 한다고 주장하였기 때문에, 노자의 無爲而無不爲는 소박한 無와 소박한 有를 둘 다 함께 잘 이루어간다는 걸 의미한다고 해석한다.
이 논문은 이에 그치지 않고, 노자사상을 이어받아서 나타나는 노자계열의 사상들인 장자사상·양주사상·황로사상을 천지지도·성인지도·치세지도의 관점으로 보아 그들 사이에 어떠한 동일점과 차이점을 가지고 있는지도 정리해 보았다.
