The anti-Japanese Independence movement in Japanese districts was triggered by the anti-Japanese movement by the students abroad between the late of the Choson Dynasty and period of Daehan Empire. Students abroad started national rights restoration movement in link with the patriotic enlightenment movement at home by forming an organization. They set up a secret organization in the 1920s, staged anti-Japanese Independence movement in Japan centering on the secret organization and staged a demonstration against the Japanese Imperialism Japan under the network of students and laborers.
The anti-Japanese movement in the 1930s greatly dwindled due to the Japanese Imperialism intensified oppressive measure, but with the outbreak of the Pacific War and the US Air Force's air raid on Tokyo in the 1940s, the anti-Japanese struggle by the Koreans resident in Japan became fierce. Particularly, with the remarkable increase in the establishment of a secret organization, the Japanese policy like government-general-promoted conscription system was confronted with a lot of protests by the secret organizations and they even prepared for an armed uprising in time of the US Air Force's air raid. The leaders of these secret organizations were arrested on a large scale and released from the hardships of prison life after liberation.
There exist a lot of historical sites indicating anti-Japanese movements In Japanese districts but it's hard to look for monuments or sign stones. Japan is implanting distorted spirit of Japan into the Japanese youth with their misguided historical view. Such an unfair deal of Japanese politicians or even pundit class is leading Japan into another source of calamity upon themselves. of time erection of monuments or sign stones at the historical sites for anti-Japanese movements could be used as an actual ground for history education for the Japanese.
