This paper is to suggest the methods for improving the current export support programs regarding SMEs throughout investigating empirically the relationships among the export support programs, the determinants of the export, the export performance.
The empirical analysis was done by using SPSS WIN 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 version. The statistical techniques used in this study were frequency analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis.
The results of the analysis are as follow : First, it is found that the export assistance programs have a positive(+) effect on the export performance. Second, it is found that the ability of management operation, domestic and international market information management, and technology (R&D) have a positive(+) effect significantly on the export performance. Third, it is found that the global experience have a positive(+) effect on the export performance. Finally, it is found that the global experience mediated partially the relationship between the usage of the export assistance programs, the capability of management operation, international market information management, and technology, and the export performance.
