Recently, consciousness of the urban landscape have been improved. So, various institutional and financial system were provided by local government. In fact, our country is surrounded rural landscape. But, we don't have interest in rural landscape. It is very important thing that frame for rural landscape and establish the direction for the color design.
In this study, environmental color of rural landscape was measured and that was assorted into two types; natural(soil, trees) and artificial(architecture, facilities). And then, we surveyed about status of environment color in rural village. The survey came out three parts; dweller in rural village, public officials of local government(they are in charge of landscape), expert. So, it will be supplied as a basic reference for color design of rural landscape in our country.
The result of this study are as follows. Natural environment color(trees and soil) was differently distributed by latitude and altitude. Artificial environment color had various and complicated composition without local characteristics. As a result of survey, most of all subjects(dweller in rural village, public officials of local government, expert) realized the problem of the rural color that wasn't harmonious with surroundings environment. Also, dwellers want to be harmonized with surroundings environment.
So, those facts will be reflected in the color design in rural village.
