In last decades, multicultural social policy has emerged in various countries in Latin America as a symbol of democratization as well as the reform of the social sector. Intercultural health programs are clear examples of such policy, In this article, I examined three intercultural health programs in Chile from interface perspectives which emphasizes the importance of interactions among social actors in shaping social programs. By doing so, this article shows how different interactions among social actors in the field caused significant differences in each intercultural health program despite their similar structural conditions. In conclusion, this article elucidates that the researches on multicultural social policy need to incorporate interactions among social actors into analysis in order to develop more nuanced understanding of state indigenous policy.
