This paper aims at searching some plans in order to operate governmental subsidies for domestic trade exhibition, which WTO system permitts as non-actionable subsidies, more effectively.
The writter submits the following plans for more effective operation of governmental subsidies : a) submitting scientific and reasonable standards in case when government(MOCIE) will decide the organizers which will be supported from the nation, b) performing the operation management against such organizers more strictly, c) supporting such subsidies to the promising organizers which have the feasibility to able to grow as hub of trade exhibition in northeast asia, d) supporting national fund in order to make Korea's trade exhibition organizer induce to be more large scale, specialist, international one, and e) educating some academic association, for example KATIS, which has an ability to research the national support trade exhibition
