It needs to establish and propel the development strategies for national land on the basis of competiveness of capital region. The Korean capital region is a kind of gate which connects the Far East Asian continent with ocean. In the future, the competiveness of capital region will decide the prosperity of Korea.
To be “the New Core of Far East Asia,”a development strategy of the Capital Region suggests five policies. Those are the decentralized concentration in the capital region, the construction of international activity center, the establishment of the cluster of knowledge-based industry, the improvement of QOL and Infra, and the co-development of capital region and other provinces.
