Chad is a landlocked country which stands on the Middle Northern part of Africa and is located at the center of the Sahara Desert. As innumerable adverse conditions including the geographical difficuities lie in piles in Chad, we have not had any interest in attaining the economic development of Chad, not to mention a study. As a result, our country has never even made any discussion as a subject for our country to make inroads into the Chad market despite that it is indispensable that our country extend to the overseas markets.
Being prepossessed by this preconception. we are missing the new market. In spite of the fact that the oil deposits in Chad have been confirmed from the 1970's. we have never tried to find out the truth about it as we have regarded that there is no means to transport the oil, because Chad is a landlocked country. However, as the oil pipelines have been completely constructed in 2003, the developing mode of Chad has come to be changed The oil is being transported to the seashores to be exported. Accordingly, our country is also importing only a small quantity of oil.
By the way we come to tum our attention to the fact that the oil pipelines imply not only the increase in the oil supply in Chad and most of all the pipeline can be used to exloit oil from neighboring coutries, At the same time, the other mineral resources which are explored will be discovered.
The purpose of acquiring Chad industrial field, is to secure the resources. However, rather than that, the purpose is for our country to create, in that unknown area, a new market.
In other words, if the resources are purchased. the connnodity market, which are regarded to be impossible, are to be opened. and the investment markets are also to be explored. I hereby dare to propose that we should take it as a turning point the idea of exploring the whole globe as a large market, without sticking to only a certain area by making the best use of the modes in Chad while extending the creation of markets in the other areas.
