We examine the existence of the writers spirit in their works. The writer's spirit is also described clearly when Goldmann explains about the resisting In. In Goldmann's theory. It seems that the authors sprit is disappeared and the novel reflects simply the social structure in Goldmann's sociology of novel as a result of the reification. However, only the great writers can objectively recognize and reflect the social relationship or structure in their works. In addition, the diversification of the writer's spirit and the expression is not allowed in this schematized and decisive theory. In Goldmann's theory, the writers are considered and recognized great when they create their works capturing the reificated socio-economic structure matching such a social structure. Criticizing Goldmann's economic decisive theoretical tendency, we examine the existence of the writer's spirit in their works. The writer's spirit is also described clearly when Goldmann explains about resisting function and the critical role of literature in his theory. Therefore, the selection of resisting subject and the use of a new style are the signs of great writer's spirit.
