It becomes to make its necessity of a study and concrete analysis for the system integration method between the Seoul Line 9 and AREX line because the interconnection of two lines are planned since the two lines have been opened and on commercial running.
We introduce the closer approach and the practical implementation method in terms of CATS(Central Automatic Traffic System) interface between the Seoul line 9 and AREX line on the base of studies have been accumulated so far. And, we introduce the requirements and commuter/express mixed operation scenario which can be a basic concept for the practical implementation and mutual consultation between SL9 and AREX. Therefore, we consider in advance all kinds of problems which can be expected at the stage of system integration for the interface of CATS and make a good contribution to the guide line or reference of actual implementation in the level of implementation planning.
