The enlightenment subject cannot but be stick to a unenlightened reality to preserve his own power, because his power disappears as soon as the enlightenment is completed. There were a connection with it that Rebirth and The Woman's Life by Lee Kwang Soo use a reality obviously contradicting the enlightenment idea of the author as the main stage of narrative, cling to a dichotomy frame of moral idea of enlightenment and moral corruption of reality. A distances between ideality and reality is further, the justification of enlightenment and the moral position of enlightenment subject which must save a corrupt society get higher. Especially the position of characters that is sharply divided into the female characters driving a catastrophe by a corrupt desires and the male characters saving a corrupt society by their moral belief is used an effective narrative mean to guarantee a moral alibi of the enlightenment idea in Lee Kwang Soo' novels.
