본고는 중국어와 한국어 중의 수여동사 ‘?,주다’와 지각동사 ‘看,보다’의 문법화 과정에 대해 살펴보았다. 두 언어에서 수여동사는 모두 수혜표기로 변천되었고 시각동사는 모두 ‘시험해 보다’는 것을 표현하는 문법성분으로 파생되었다. 중국어와 한국어는 각각 다른 언어체계에 속하지만 사람들의 인지패턴과 방식은 기본적으로 비슷하기 때문에 언어발전에 있어서 일부 동사들의 문법화과정에서 유사성을 보여주고 있다. 그 외에 두 언어의 문법화 과정를 비교함으로써 그 결과를 중국어교육에 활용하면 학습자들이 언어규칙을 파악하는데 도움이 될 것이라고 생각된다.
