The problem tackled in this essay is analysis of footnootes on Religious Taoist text, juyeogchamdongkye, that is Chu Shi'juyeogchamdongkyegoi. I Think that Philosophy is a creature of the times. Of course The World of Thought in Song-China dynasty is creature of the times. Philosophers in Song-China stand in relation to former dynasties as a follower of the historical traditions and a creative interpreter of the philosophical heritage. Thus We need to Understand the historical settings, especially a history of religious Taoism.
According to Neo-confucianist Chu Hsi, There is difference and similarity between Confucianism and religious Taoism. Religious Taoism give a good impression to Chu Hsi. One of the characteristic trends of Religious Taoism is naive faith in science and physical thinking. These trends of natural culture are interested in a law of Nature. The notable features of Religious Taoism is that religious views are predominant in this country, Song-China. National sentiment of Song-China dynasty devoted themselves to religious work all their life on Neo-Confucianism. In Brief, Philosopher in Song-China Neo-Confucianism, Chu Hsi have inherited various cultural-academic legacies of religious Taoism. This text, juyeogchamdongkyegoi is a sample of that tendency.
