This thesis is to study the history of King’s Movement system, specially moving to the Hot Spring, as we called Onhaeng(溫幸). The Hot Spring is one of the best Medical treatment in ancient society. It’s like a today’s popular Spa place. So Onhaeng(溫幸) is personal health care system. In spite of changed Ruler in Korean Peninsula, Every Kingdom’s Ruler used Hot Spring. For his own health care or there family and governoe. It was same condition in Chosun Dynasty, specially 17~18 century. There’s who lived through the 17 century, his name was king Hyunjong(顯宗). And that king’s Movement, we called Onhaeng(溫幸), this movement belonged Sunsu(巡狩). Sunsu(巡狩) was Korea and China’s the part of ruler system.
Onyang(溫陽) is the best place for King and his family’s Maintaining there Health. In 『Samguksaki(三國史記)』, Onyang(溫陽) came to Hot Springs as early as AD 7, usually used early Chosun Dynasty. From that time Onhaeng (溫幸) was best choice to king’s health care. Onhaeng(溫幸) was same kind of king’s guard system. It used be part of Haenghaeng(行幸) system. Same military system and unit's moved with king. How many people go by there in Onhaeng(溫幸). Usually in Hyunjong(顯宗) era over 2.500 people mobilized. Hyunjong(顯宗) like a be in Onyang(溫陽). Because his body condition is not so good. Especially his got a skin diseases. So year by year or at least 2 year’s Onhaeng(溫幸) was choosed by Hyunjong(顯宗)’s health care doctor.
Hyunjong(顯宗)’s Onhaeng(溫幸) is make a big trouble for provience people. When happened Onhaeng(溫幸), In Onyang(溫陽), they make a everything. King’s living room, and military soldier’s compound. Rightly every support content, like a roadㆍtransfortationㆍfoodㆍfire wood they must prepare. Therefore Hyunjong(顯宗)’s Onhaeng(溫幸) was very hard time for them. About spring time, it’s make a big society problem. As we know Chosun society is Agriculture system. So spring is real busy for farmers. However Hyunjong(顯宗)’s Onhaeng(溫幸) used be playing a that season. It’s very unusually happen in Chosun Dynasty. Chosun Dynasty is Confucian society. So there idea of rule for Agriculture system. There’s not easily understand, like that situation how can a happened Hyunjong(顯宗)’s Onhaeng(溫幸). It’s very interesting things.
Though this paper did not describe much, the Hot spring’s cure system, and cure condition. Therefore to make a comparison between Hyunjong(顯宗)’s Onhaeng(溫幸) and the other king’s Onhaeng(溫幸).
