『Bosodang-injon(寶蘇堂印存)』 published by Simam Jo Du-soon(1796~1870) and Jaha Sin wi(1769~1847) in the latter Joseon period, introduces many seals had being using regularly by the king of Joseon from the first King to heonjong. The heonjong, the 24th king of Joseon, ascended the throne at age 7, was on the throne for 15 years. so we could know that the first seal of the inbo(印譜) was made in from 1834 to 1847 when heonjong ascended the throne and demised. Jangseogak and major libraries are collecting this inbo, in some cases made to a folding screen and collected by a persen. the title of the book is 『Joseoninbo(朝鮮印譜)』, 『inbo(印譜)』, each collected in kyujanggak(奎章閣) and jongro library, but its contents are the very same with 『Bosodang-injon』, so could be placed under the category of it.
『Bosodang-injon』 included many seals (etc. seal of collection, appreciation, letter) which would had been sealed to books, paintings, ancient monumental inscriptions and a rubbed copies of heonjong's own. besides since the Han dynasty and the Ming-dynasty of China, contained ancient seal(etc. hanjang(閒章), gilouin(吉語印), sujangin(收藏印), gamsangin(鑑賞印)) had been using by an outstanding disciples and calligraphers. so learned circles give an appraisal of this book to achieving a synthesis the seal of the latter Joseon period and give a bibliographical explanation. but we didn't get down to study because of many explanation's differences. so this materials have not yet been read a paper. this paper will examine carefully context and sequence of 6 different versions as well as clarify its character within the framework the epigraphy interchange with the Ching-dynasty.
