The convergence of telecommunication and broadcasting has already become actual and universal. This trend of fusion lead to the change of the administrative regulations. But the latter can't follows up the former timely, especially in Korea. In the United States of America, FCC(Federal Communication Commission) works in the both fields of telecommunication and broadcasting. In contrast, MIC(Ministry of Information and Communication) and KBC(Korea Broadcasting Commission) divide the regulated industry into two parts, the telecommunication and the broadcasting, in Korea. Thus the conflict of regulatory competence has increasingly occurred in various aspects. This article only deals with the problem about M&A(Mergers and Acquisitions), in the concrete, the influence of the convergence of telecommunication and broadcasting on the legal aspects of M&A. Under the circumstance of the convergence, the legal problems of the present competition regulation system would be diagnosed, and also improvement suggestions would be made in this article.
