The objectives of this research are to investigate the relationship between hospitals and medical laboratory companies.
A survey was conducted to collect the data with prepared questionnaires for hospital employees who had an authority to deal with outsourcing partners. SPSS V10.1 analysis was performed to test the hypotheses. The results show as follows. First, factors to increase the quality of relationship between hospitals and medical laboratory companies are sharing values in mutual relation and decreasing opportunism behavior of medical laboratory companies. Second, the quality of relationship on medical laboratory companies appears to have no significant effect on the level of outsourcing. Third, sharing value and opportunism behavior among relationship marketing factors were found to affect the continuation intention of outsourcing through the medium of the quality of relationship.
In sum, the quality of relationship was constructed to increase continuation Intention of outsourcing between hospitals and medical laboratory companies. This research also offers effective management of resistance of internal constituent to success outsourcing strategy.
