This article discusses Korean women's cultural activities from the perspective of women's resistance, which is in order to establish their own subjectivity in society and further to resolve gender inequality. After providing a review on the meaning and forms of cultural activities, the author explores cases of resistance revealed in women's day-to-day activities. The article concludes with a discussion of the need for organizations and channels to empower women's daily resistance.
