Today's broadband Internet and the popularity of Web 2.0 applications like social networking, video sharing and user-generated content creates a great opportunity for the ultimate breakthrough for sports coaches. The Global Coaches Social Network will provide coach's meaningful tools that will lead to an easier and more convenient way for them to conduct business, increase education, gain certification, and most importantly, connect and interact on a global stage. It will provide a great interactive experience, appealing to coaches of all levels from many countries and cultures. Using 2.0 technologies and a 3-Dimension platform environment, the network will provide an interactive community for coaches to express and exchange opinions and connect with one another in a multi-media environment like none other on the web. It will offer coaches a live forum to comment on subjects of mutual interest-to see what other coaches have to say and to derive the benefit of the aggregation of the input of millions of other coaches. The Global Coaches Sports Network will access the enormous potential of video sharing and user-generated content (blogs, podcasts, message boards), and cutting edge technologies will be applied to expand and enhance the ways in which coaches can interact with each other on a moment-by-moment basis. The network will leverage many of the most popular aspects of Web 2.0-community, social media, user-generated content, ranking systems, video sharing-while being simple to navigate, understandable and easy to use. The Global Coaches Sports Network includes the creation of a Virtual Coaches World, which would be particularly appealing to coaches in Online Education as well as competing in our Entertainment areas such as Fantasy Games. Coaches will be given the opportunity to create their own Digital Scrapbooks-a way to keep track of their coaching methods, ways they deal with athletes, game plans, and interactions with other coaches. Overall, The Global Coaches Social Network will empower coaches like no other community in existence. The Global Coaches Social Network will be a venue where members of a passionate fraternity will gather.
