The reason Sun Zhongshan is highly regarded in China and Taiwan is based on his political idealism. It's concentrated on the lecture of what is called Three Peoples Principles. This thesis is to find out the fact that Sun Zhongshan's Three Peoples Principles is under the influence of the Mutual aid of Kropotkin. The first part deals with the private relations of Sun Zhongshan and the members of Paris group who introduced the Mutual aid to China firstly. And then, the second part analyzes the Mutual aid in Sun Zhongshan's Three Peoples Principles.
Sun Zhongshan held the new evolutionary theory so called the Mutual aid and he criticized the survival of the fittest and the law of the jungle in the social Darwinism. However, his mutual aid is slightly different from Kropotkin's. For example, it is to combine traditional ideas with the Mutual aid or just to apply the Mutual aid to the world of mortals except the natural world. He sought the open nationalism with solidarity of the Mutual aid and inspired cosmopolitan prospect into the Asian national liberation movements.
