This purpose of this study is to give a concrete form to the ‘deulchum( 들춤)’ phenomenon, in which the marker of manner ‘-eun/neun(- 은/ 는)’ is realized, based on theoretical background about specifier movement and ‘deulchum’ phenomenon, and on the basis of that, to analyze the contextual semantic function of ‘-eun/neun’.
1) The types of deulchum, according to a position, where the postpositional word ‘-eun/neun’ is realized, could be classified into ‘deulchum of sentence’ and ‘deulchum of component’, and then ‘deulchum of component’ could be divided into ‘noun phrase deulchum’ and ‘declinable word phrase deulchum’.
2) It’s found that the contextual semantic of the marker of manner ‘-eun/neun’, derived from ‘deulchum’ function, its basic meaning, has been realized differently in accordance with the types of ‘deulchum’.
This can be summarized in figure as follows;
