The purpose this study to offer coaches teaching technique in practical training by analysing the motivating effects of the diverse of goals-setting with tennis stroke skill testing.
To make concretely clear this study, chose 14 male and 6 female students, whom divide into four groups : those who were provided with the truth goal-setting ; those with attainable goal-setting ; those with fancied goal-setting ; and control group.
The results are as follows :
As a result of variance analysis among the groups, there was a significant difference in the motivating effects of the diverse of goals-setting with tennis stroke skill testing.
The main effect of group F(3,99)=11.372, p<.001, was significant, and the main effect of block was significant, F(4,99)=192.204, p<.001, whereas there was no Group-Block interaction.
At the beginning of the retention test on the following day, the main effect of group, F(3,59)=4.182, p<.05, was significant, and the main effect of block was significant, F(2,59)=18.023, p<.001, whereas there was no Group×Block interaction.
As a result of identification after the training, the record of group who were provided with both attainable goal-setting and fancied goal-setting was most excellent.
