This study, in order to examine clearly the players' consciousness level of Individualism and Collectivism values, was performed in an object of making a comparative analysis on the relativity between variables concerned for the family, a relative, a friend and a neighbor classified as a subordinate variable according to 5 items by background variable(birth rank, main district to be grown up, religion, the family-leader's job, the family-leader's educational level) to establish a scholars tic system for the players' consciousness of personal values and of providing the theory and knowledge related to this to supply the basic materials to control the players resonably.
With using the systematic stratified cluster random sampling, I took the 1,205 players in all including 810 players in 10 universities in the nation(male:58.9, female:221) and 395 national team players(male:263, female:132) as the objects of research and carried out a questionnaire with the recording method by self-assessment and as the result, attained the conclusion like following.
1. In seeing the comparative analysis according to birth rank, only regarding a friend, the group of middle rank male players(2.45±63) turned out to have a higher consciousness level of individualistic values than the group of single daughter female players(2.00±60), showing a significant difference(p＜5).
2. In the consciousness level of personal values according to a main district to be grown up, the group of maleㆍfemale players from a district below the unit of townㆍmyon turned out to have a higher consciousness level of Collectivism values than the group of maleㆍfemale players from a metropolitan city, showing a significant difference(p＜05), and also regarding the family, the group of maleㆍfemale players from a district below the unit of townㆍmyun turned out to have a higher consciousness level of Collectivism values than the group of male players from a small and medium-sized city, showing a significant difference(p＜05).
3. In considering the consciousness level of personal values according to the family-leaders job classification, regarding the family, the group of female players with a sales job(3.84±.40) turned out to have a higher consciousness level of Collectivism values than the group of female players with a managingㆍspecialized job(3.50±.44), showing a significant difference(p＜.05), and regarding a neighbor, the group of female players with no jobㆍunspecialized job turned out to have a lower consciousness level of individualistic values than the group of male players with no jobㆍunspecialized job and the group of male players with a specialized job and the group of female players with a sales job, showing a significant difference(p＜.05).
4. In seeing the comparative analysis according to the family-leader's educational level, regarding the family, the group of female players below elementary school graduation(3.86±.16) turned out to have a higher consciousness level of Collectivism values than the group of male players with middle school graduation(3.59±.39) and the group of female players above university graduation(3.50±.54), showing a significant difference, and regarding a friend, the group of female players below elementary school graduation than the group of maleㆍfemale players above elementary school graduation, and regarding a neighbor the group of male players above university graduation (2.50±.49) than the group of female players below elementary school graduation(2.23±.67) turned out to have a higher Collectivism level of Individualism values. showing a significant difference(p＜.05).
