??Although the portion of national classical music at musical textbook has been increased after the revise of educational curriculums, there still remains difficulty in normalizing the education of national music at schools due to the shortage of specialized personnel and teachers' interest in it. So The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has been sending the professionals to schools after selecting, educating and training them, not only to enhance the quality of education of cultural art at schools but also to provide them with the chance to participate in the educational field.
??Therefore, even though there seems to have been no other known major studies on this pool since its practice, I examined it mainly with the data of enforcement guidelines of The ministry of Culture and Tourism from 2001 to 2005, "the Research Report on the Operational Results of National Classical Music Instructors' Pool" in December 2004, "the Meeting for the Evaluation of National Classical Music Instructors' Pool" in March 2005, dissertations, surveys and interviews taken during my direct instruction to the instructors of the pool at training, surveys during the training of musical teachers of middle and high schools, interviews with the school managers, and interviews with the teachers, instructors and school managers who are not participating in this program. The problems that I found are listed as follows :
??First, awareness of the pool's objective(officers in charge of running the system, shortage of interests and pre-information at school)
??Second, the selection of national classical music instructors(publicity, timing of selection, qualification of the applicants, quality of instructors)
??Third, their assignments (school assignment, class assignment, contents of class)
??Fourth, pre-education of national classical music instructors (total hours of training, the contents of training, materials, facilities)
??Fifth, educational environment at school.
??This national classical music instructors' pool, which has been implemented under the long and continuous plan, should be executed for the way of insuring substantiality by facing with and resolving its problems, not just by overlooking them.
