Report Errors
To commemorate a centennial anniversary of the Persecution of the year Kihae(己亥迫害, 1839), Priest Hyungjoong Yoon(尹亨重) had tried to establish the Chos?n Catholic Martyrs Exaltation Society(朝鮮天主敎殉敎者顯揚會) in 1939. Nevertheless he had failed to do so by Japan's suppression.
Thereafter Chos?n Catholic Martyrs Exaltation Society had been accomplished at last in 1946, entirely owing to Priest Yoon's desperate efforts. To begin in earnest, First of all it had tried to compile the materials of Martyrs. Secondly it had published Martyrs' biographical story, thirdly had made sacred song in memory of them and distributed it widely. Over and above these events had been archived by Priest Yoon.
