Kwangdaega consists of preface, general summary, acting, master actor / actress, and conclusion.
The part of preface presents change from letter-centered thingking to body-centered thingking, protecting native values, change from the values of upper class to lower class, pursuing the new possibility of Korean secularism, and relationship to independent folk-religion in Korea.
The part of general summary presents the hardships of Kwangdaeㆍperformer's acting, the main points of acting(inmoolchirae, sasulchirae, dukeum, nurumsae). Inmoolchirae is inborn appearance or personality. Sasulchirae is actor's capacity of understanding and interpretation texts, and capacity of driving texts. Dukeum is the musical capacity of actors. Nurumsae is the bodily capacity of actors to perform theatres. This theory is a kind of body-centered strategy of representation and emphasizes the capacity of bodily expression.
The part of acting describes the performing processes of Pansori / theatres. Dasrum / simple rehearsal must be given consideration to Eemyun / inner principles. Chang / songs and Jangdan / rhythm must be contrived to drive various changes. Aniri / dialogue must be driven to have the aesthetic and imitative capacities. Audience must be leaded to response positively to performers. And audience is divided into Jwasanggaek / upper-class audience and general audience.
The part of master actor / actress is the first real study of actor / actress and practical criticism about actor / actress in Korea.
