It is true that a Korean start his life from rice cake and bring to a dose rice cake. A rice cake indispensible in exorcism. So, we can observe the connection of the Korean rice cake and exorcism.
First, People does not ear a rice cake every day. Folklore simple sentence narrated orally in exorcism shows some interesting facts. From the proverb related with exorcism to every day language, we can find various expressions. In essence the expression which narrated orally in exorcism expand to every day language.
From an ancient times rice cake is much accounted of people in exorcism Since an ancient the function of the Shaman is reduced gradually. but the roar of the shaman is established in an ancient rimes. A shaman was not only a blacksmith but also the person who can make a rice cake. These things are preparations to ceremony to heaven.
An ancient people believe that a rice cake have holy power. so, the people who can make a rice cake could be a King like a ‘nisakeum(尼師今)’, ‘imkeum(임금)’.
