Morality is the aggregation of behavior principles and criterions which adjust the relationship between people. To bring the morality into play is not self?made, it must depend on the corresponding operation mode to obtain the grant effect. There was no word “mechanism”in ancient China. but in faith the operation mode of moral construction existed, and there were lots of successful cases in ancient China. Therefore, according to the moral reconstruction way, the method and the form experience in ancient China times, we might as well use word “mechanism”. Nowadays, there are many modes and methods of moral construction, but the effects of them are not really ideal. Some moral construction mechanisms flew to the form and became to the formalistic things, and no one was truly accepted by the people. This is related with the absence of new perfect mechanism of moral construction. The experience of ancient China in moral construction mechanism can enlighten us all the same today.
Moral construction mechanism of ancient China is a relatively integrated system which includes organization, operation, interaction, inspiritment and safeguard.
Firstly, it includes the organization and lead by the government. When blazoning forth Confucianism, we must think much of the moralization function of religion culture and the acceleration of the transformation of people’s moral conception with the reformation of life style.
Secondly, it also includes the establishment of the moral education system of whole society and the formation of moral education networks. It is necessary to establish the schooling moral mechanism and the widespread social education network. It is important to take the house education as the major part of moral education.
Thirdly, It includes the effective method of perfecting moral education. It pays attention to the ideological education which moving people and exertion of the exemplary role of models. It is also necessary to insist children’s moral construction and carry on moral education gradually.
The experience of ancient China in moral construction mechanism can enlighten us to construction moral mechanism all the same today. The government must think much of moral construction and perfect the mechanism of managing state affairs legally and morally. It is also important to insist opening moral education, obey the rule of moral construction and create the concrete form of the effective moral education mechanism.
