The aim of this study is to investigate the attributional style and the social psychological characteristics of Female Fraud offenders. With SPSS win program I analyzed 69 female fraud offenders caught in the correction facility.
The analysis results are as follows:
Firstly, the age bracket of the female fraud offenders is very high in their forties (46.6%), their academic career is almost high-school commencement(48.8%).
Secondly, they almost married(91.4%) and had their job(75.9%).
Thirdly, the greater part of them committed a crime for the first time(86.6%) and the crime was committed independent1y(94.8%).
Fourth, the relationship of the offender with a committee is almost intimate(96.6%) .....
Fifthly, when I considered the attributional style of the female fraud offenders, an external attribution (84.5%) is higher an internal attribution (15.5%).
Finally, My analysis shows us that such independent variables as criminal records, the relationship with a committee, and the age have an influence upon dependant variables, that is, the attributional style.
With the above research results, can understand the socio-psychological characteristics of the female fraud offender. On the basis upon my study, we can get the study outcome with which we can lead to implications of the criminal justice policy. However, this paper has some problems which is the limit of the sampling range and the generalization of research results, In addition, we need to study the comparison with male offenders and female offenders.
