The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior pattern of facilities use in campus surroundings. The locational types of campus have been divided into inner city, outer city and suburbs according to the distance from the Taegu and user of community facilities has been classified residents and campus students.
The results of the analysis are as follows; The degree of the residents' satisfaction is higher in inner city and outer city but lower in suburbs. As for the campus students, the satisfaction degree is the highest in outer city but the lowest in suburbs. It might happen because the more food and amusement facilities for the campus students exist in suburbs than in inner city. In comparison between the satisfaction degrees of residents and campus students, the former is higher than the latter, and the degree of satisfaction is more higher when one is masculine, old and used the campus facilities. Both residents and campus students regarded the excess of the pleasure and recreation facilities as the most serious problem, and announced that the cultural and artistic facilities are the most desirable things in campus surroundings.
