Report Errors
Discussion about East Asian community proceeding excitment from middle of 1990s. Discussion about East Asian community is discussion to tie East Asia. East Asia together North-east Asia and South-east Asia, but main of discussion is discussion about Korea, China, Japan. Discussion about community is opposed Discussion about liberalism. So Discussion about East Asian community is opposite against another community. Discussion about East Asian community is a effort that look for the value in oriental culture and thought. So Discussion about East Asian community exist on extension of discussion about confucian capitalism and oriental value.
Discussion about East Asian community is based similar cultural ground. That is a discussion to elevate cooperation in this area, finally make a communality unit. Therefore we must grope for East Asia as area and culture pass over East Asia of countries. So we have to make a start from not dim abstract level but our really foundation. We notice universality as pan-confucian cultural area but we don't failure to notice particularity of every area. In addition the important thing is not moral social relationship but jointly social relationship.
We are based on oriental tradition. But we don't bring out premodern fact. We must change up to date new cultural frame. So we will free ourselves from premodernity. We must bring out East oriental imagination and method in thought level. On this background When we will diffuse citizen's campaign, we will fix the frame of recognition and practice as possibility and necessity of East-Asianism.
