‘Chunhyangjeon’ was written by an anonymous author in the mid-period of Chosun Dynasty.
The personalities of characters and the styles of dress of women in 'Chunhyangjeon' recreated their clothing to one that is more similar to the descriptions in the literature text can be described as follows.
Chunhyang when she was a young lady was doing Nangzassanggae with 'Doturakdaenggi' and wore ‘Gyeotmagi'[hoejang jeogori] that was a different color match for the goreums, kit( : kitmeri' shape was mokpan dangkokis), gyeonmagi and cuffs and 'Chima' and 'Onhae'. In outwear, Chunhyang wore 'Jangos' was originally fastened with chest strips from two overlapped chests which tells it took root as a veil. After she was married, she was doing 'Zzokjin meori' and wore 'Gakjeogori', 'Bolkkki' and 'Tosi' for keeping out the cold.
Wolmae was doing 'Eoneun meori' and wore ‘Gyeotmagi' with a different color match for the goreums, kit, and seop, gyeonmagi and cuffs and 'Balmak'.
Kisaeng was doing 'Eoneun meori' and wore 'Jeonlip' and ‘Gyeotmagi' with a different color match for the goreums, kit, and gyeonmagi and cuffs.
Hyangdan wore 'Banhoejang jeogori' with a different color match for the goreums, kit, and 'Geodeul-Chima' and 'Zipsin.
