This study is related to analyzing the causal relationship between the manufacturing managerial objectives, i.e., quality, cost, flexibility and dependability, and the organizational goals where the firms implementing the quality management. Most of the researches in the traditional literature had neglected to consider the roles of manufacturing objectives in the perspective of research model. Some of the published literature used two concepts interchangeably in the study context. However, in the total quality management, manufacturing objectives have the real and vital roles in implementing the managerial practices.
Therefore this study tries to analysis the causal relationship between the manufacturing objectives and the organizational goals. Also this study attempts to measure the trade-offs among the manufacturing objectives. In order to perform the empirical survey, 80 respondents are gathered from the 300 sending of questionnaires. Then this study analyzed the data with AMOS of SPSS. Concludingly, most of firms responding the questionnaires regarded the quality objectives the most importantly and then the cost in the next. But flexibility objectives showed a relatively strong but insignificant relationship and the dependability was not perceived pertinently in the responding firms.
