This paper shows the study on the post-modernistic poetry in the 1980s. Concretely, this paper shows the dissident dimension of the post-modernistic poetry, and the politics of the post-modernistic poetics connected with parody.
The dissident dimensions of the post-modernistic poetry is expressed by four poets, namely HwangJiWoo, JangJeongIl, ParkNamCheol, and KimYeongSeung. HwangJiWoo expressed his sharp criticism of the dictatorial government as the dissident dimension. JangJeongIl expressed his sharp criticism of the capitalistic system occasioned a sales-man's suicide. ParkNamCheol expressed his sharp criticism of the Ideology of the Jesus-Christ. Kim YeongSeung expressed his sharp criticism of the demoralization. They are all anti-imperialist on purpose to keep our traditional culture and humanism.
So the post-modernistic poetry based on 80.5·18 revolution of KwangJoo and the capitalistic system are representative of the poetry on the practical dimension in the 1980s. Furthermore, these poetry stand for anti-imperialism genre, and critical genre on the disorderly society in the 1980s.
