The Virtual Testing Laboratory(VTL) is becoming an innovative concept during the development of vehicle, especially at the design stage of ride and durability evaJuations. In this research, the effects of flexible bodies for the suspension components were investigated on the analysis of reaction force. The mechanical characteristics of components, which are spring constants, bush model, mass and inertia and so on, were obtained by several tests and the full virtual model were developed. The considered components for the flexible bodies are front and rear subframes, stabilizer bar, tie rod and lower control arm (LCA). The reaction forces obtained from the virtual simulations and tests were compared at the ball joint and tie rod with time-history and range-pair counting plot with which is expressed for the durability evaluation. The consideration of flexible bodies for the components whose lowest natural frequency belongs to the range of road loads resulted in better accuracy, while the other flexible bodies had little influence.
