This paper devides the history of Korean capital accumulation during 1945-1960 after the ]945 Liberation of Korea into 1) before the end of Korean War(1945-1953); Period of fanning the foundation of capital accumulation and 2) after the Korean War(1953-1960); Period of capital accumulation.
First, in the period of fanning the foundation of capital accumulation, dismemberment of colonial anti-feudal agricultural structure through the transfer of government's agricultural land to private ownership and agrarian reform, although which made the capital ownership structure by Japan - America disbanded and also the colony has limitation of subordinate character under the power of foreign country, that period was fanning the foundation of Korean capital accumulation which was achieved by establishing the national capital ownership stracture.
Second, in the period of capital accumulation, the progress of capital accumulation period was demonstrated from the following facts that capital accumulation by foreign aid, industrial capita] accumulation through sacrificing agricultural sector, formation of bureaucratic monopolistic plutocracy centering on the industry for consumer goods connected with the adhesion by foreign aid, formation of industry capital by that plutocracy, and the accumulation of industrial and commercial capitals by inflation. Therefore it could be concluded that history of capital accumulation for the above-mentioned two periods, especially history of capital accumulation progress after 1953, has the connotation of economic historical meaning through the establishing a bridgehead of capital accumulation for the formation of full-scale industrial capital formation of 19605 in the process of Korean capital accumulation.
Contribution of Korean people who was the subject of national life absolutely induced above-mentioned positive assessment. If there were not 1) transplanted capitalism covered by imperialistic power, 2) securing the originality of national economy during that period, 3) people's life adhering to anti-transplantation to grouge out the imperialism, it would never be prepared for the period of national capital accumulation raised quickly through piercing out external regulation of Japan-America. In that sense, because the spout of people's struggle was made for securing the national originality in terms of Korean capitalism, it should be accepted with modesty for the fact that even the semi-originality during 19508 was secured and for the first time history of progress, which was named the bridgehead establishment of national capital accumulation, was taken.
