This thesis begins with pointing out the fact that core of Lee Sang's poetics lies in originality of his 'eyes' toward objects. With his background of studying architecture, his eyes penetrate through architecture. It is his eyes that turn exterior of architecture into blueprint and finally de-construct it. In this writing, the eyes are named as 'crow's-eye-view', and the strategy of de-construction is named as 'imagination of de-construction'.
The object Lee Sang's eyes focus on is architecture called colonial system which is based on two substances - one is colonized city, Kyungseong[경성](Kafkaesque power) and the other is feudal family system(Oedipal power). His poetics penetrate, de-construct and ridicule architecture and power However, it is still imperfect. His poetics would be completed only when he escapes from power of street and family.
Escape from Kim Hye-kyung toward Lee Sang is creative and unprecedented strategy. It is a strategy that he becomes 'Lee Sang', that he writes text 'Lee Sang' and that he creates life as text - this thesis names the strategy 'the theory of subjectivity of mask/mirror'. However the mask called 'Lee Sang' slips off Kim Hyekyung's face. From his reflection on mirror, Lee Sang's penetrative eyes see not 'lee Sang', but Kim Hyekyung. He worries, examines and finally snipes. It is because of Kim Hyekyung's repetitive returns inside Lee Sang that mirror is repeated in his works.
Lee Sang's Mirror psalms are out of despair that subject originated from and organized by disruption cannot complete the disruption and that subject is finally unified into the one before disruption. Lee Sang who created the subject 'Lee Sang' and the text 'Lee Sang' is incapable of changing Kim Hyekyung's life and incessantly avoid it. 'Lee Sang' the subject and 'Lee Sang' the text are mere technics(techno-narcissism) and fail to change themselves into practical ethics which amends order of life.
