The main purpose of this thesis is to pursue the variation process of the concept of Human being by Pak, Cheol. In 1930's, the oppressive fascists' pressure were deepened internationally and consequently these threatened even the existence of intellectuals. In the colony korea the people's situations were much worse than those of any other nations. In this context debates on humanism in 1930's which insisted on humanity and freedom of personality in literature could have meanings as a practical strategy against fascist reactions.
To summarise : His humanism is that of liberalism Started his literature career as enthusiastic member of Proletarian literature movement, but in the second half of the 1930's he energetically destructed marxist version of human being. In particular the concept of Human being by Pak, 01e01 was distorted by the oppressive fascists'.
