In this thesis, I have studied how to have the homology of the characters created by Han, Young-un in the novel Heokpung(the black wind) that had been in the last 19th century China with the Korean people, and how the Korean people had to receive the aspects of the modern revolutionary movement in that time, and how the special value of the poet Han's literary style composed that process, and its whole meaning and the value of the Koran modern literary history. This novel written from 1935 to 1936 shows the situation on the eve of Xinhai Revolution in China, that had been related with Donghak and 3ㆍ1 Independent Revolution in Korea. Han who himself had been the leader of 3ㆍ1 Independent Revolution wanted to tell the meaning of that revolution, i.e. the nonviolent resistant movement to the power of Imperialism, to the Korean people who had been in need and had practiced that movement in the middle of colonized society, and he wanted to search the turning point of the national history by the coherence of people's power through that meaning. Such this intention appears to his literary style. His poetic and gradational style of sentences, as we had seen in his poem Imechimmuk(the silence of lover), which implies the absolute love to 'the lover', 'the absolute' and 'the mother country', embodies the highness of the human mind. In its mind, there are critics of neglecting whole the life that had been passed by material civilization, modern science and the law in modern times. And in this face, we can recognize the theme of Heokpung, that is not the ideological liberation but the real human liberation. In the dimension of literary history, it also has the important meaning. Although the factors of Sinsosul discovered in his novel are seemed to be degraded to the 1900s, his poetic diction of the monk presented in Heokpung has already freed from the traditional story-telling method.
