In this treatise, I studied how Korean traditional lyrical poetics were modernized. Here I studied the traditional methods leading to lyrical identity, especially Confucian methods. They are the theory of identity between the emotion of Subject and the landscape of Object(情景論), the theory of Metaphysical poetics (形而上學論) and the Life-poetics(生命詩學). And I related these traditional lyrical poetics with the poet-group of 'Munjang'(文章派).
The theory of emotion and landscape aims the identity between the emotion of poetic Subject and the landscape of poetic Object. The theory of metaphysical poetics is the method that aims the realization of metaphysics through literary works. The realization of metaphysics is achieved through the meeting between Subjective 'Do(道)' and Objective Do. The poet-group of 'Munjang' showed much interest to the metaphysics that was realized in life.
The life poetics focused at the principle of life also aims the ideology of the identity between poetic subject and poetic object. And these three traditional lyrical poetics resist to the fascism brought by the Japanese capitalism.
