This study is to recognize the costume & courtesy of Korean Envoy in Chosun Dynasty. The results were as follows: 1. During the Chosun dynasty, fabrics sent to China as contributions induded sejeopo, heckmapo, rugs and leather
goods. Those items were selected and requested by China Which proves the sent items' Qualities were well better than the one made in China
2. As to the expenses spent by those delegates varied by importance of the mission and rankings of the delegates.
Baikjopo took the majority portion and this showsthat the most popular fabric until mid-Chosun dynast was also Jeopo.
3. Amongst those sent fabrics from China induded Dan and Ju and these are considered to be the representing fabrics
of Myung & Chung Dynasty.
4. When royal envoys from China, the king whom previously has received acknowledgement from the Emperor of China
wore king's Gongyongpo and whom has not yet been awarded an acknowledgement wore Gujangbok (Myunbok) to
the greeting ceremony for visiting envoys.
5. Generally, greeting ceremony for royal envoys took nine parts. Yeryung and Mudong's Costume were provided and
worn according to Hyangakjungjae.
