This research, focusin on the Korean bride's traditional clothes since the nation's modernization, looked into changes in shape, cloth rnaterial, color, and decoration. Next, I applied the SAS statistics to calaulate the frequency and percentage of change for the sake of looking over current Korean traditional clothes. I have surnrnared the results as follows:
1. the change in the Korean bride's traditional clothes were not so much different from the common people's clothes.
That is, Jeogori (a sort of jake!) was getting longer than that of the early 1900s, and theskirt, broader.
2. the most popular color of Jeogori were dark green and blue, and the skirt was dark pink. Claret was the favorite color of Git and Goreum. the most Fashioned cloth rnaterial for Koean traditional clothes was Sacheolkkekki and it's getting thicker than in the mid 1990s. Although Nobak was used very much from the 1900s to 1990s, decorated rnaterials, like Kap-sa. Jarni-sa and Ko-sa are becoming more popular days.
3. the most popular decoration on Korean traditional clothes were flowers. Geometrical and letter decorations were also
getting popular. In addition, these decorations were hand-made by embroidering and gold leaf.
