Although the natural light is hand to control the desirable strength and color in comparison with artificial light, natural light is an essential element to achieve healthy, comfortable and psychologically stable environment which could not be achieved by any other design factors. In this study, the distribution of illumination level in the exhibition hall was measured and analysed through the computer simulation with the variation of the configuration indices of top-sidelighting. By the analysis of computer simulation configuration indices of top-sidelighting proper to the evaluation criteria of lighting environment were determined. The design guidelines of the monitor aperture top-sidelighting in the exhibition hall are presented as follows.
