프랜차이즈 편의점 산업의 성장과 가맹점주의 수익성 향상, 고용확대 등을 위해
서 가맹점주의 다점포운영을 높이는 것은 매우 중요한 문제이다.
선행연구에서 가맹본부 지원서비스는 중요한 독립변수임이 입증되었다.
그러나 선행연구에서도 다점포 운영은 단일점포 운영에 비해 더 높은 기업가정신을 요구한
다고 하였으나 이에 대한 실증연구는 찾기 어려웠다. 따라서 창업의도를 예측하는
데 있어 가장 적합한 모델인 계획된 행동이론을 적용하여 매개변수로 추가점포 창
업태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된행동통제로 하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 가
맹점주의 다점포운영의도를 높이는데 있어 가맹본부의 지원방향성을 찾는데 목적이
있다.위 연구결과를 통해서, 가맹점주의 다점포운영의도를 높이는데 가맹점주의 추가
점포 창업태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제가 중요한 매개변수임을 확인하였으
며, 가맹본부 지원서비스가 다점포운영의도에 미치는 영향에 있어 추가점포 창업태
도가 완전매개한 것으로 보아 가맹본부의 직접적이고 일률적인 다점포지원보다는
가맹점주의 추가점포 창업에 대한 태도를 높일 수 있도록 차별적인 지원의 필요성
을 제기할 수 있다.
