본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 미술교수내용지식과 관련된 변인으로서 문화
자본과 감성지능의 영향력을 알아보기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 유아교사
의 문화자본, 감성지능, 미술 교수내용지식의 수준과 관계를 알아보고 상대적
영향력을 확인하고자 하였다.
개인적 특성에 따른 문화자본, 감성지능, 미술 교수내용지식의 관련성을 살
펴보기 위해 독립표본 t검증과 ANOVA 검증을 실시하고 ANOVA검증이 통
계적으로 유의미한 경우 사후검증으로는 Scheff 검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과
유아교사의 개인적 특성 중 교사의 근무기관과 전공은 문화자본, 감성지능,
미술 교수내용지식에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 교사의 연령은 문
화자본의 하위영역인 성장기 문화자본과 문화자본 전체 영역에 영향을 미치
는 것으로 나타났으며 교사의 학력은 문화자본 하위영역 중 현재의 문화자본
과 감성지능의 하위영역인 타인감성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 교사의
경력은 문화자본의 하위영역인 성장기 문화자본과 현재문화자본, 미술 교수
내용지식의 하위영역 중 교수·학습방법지식에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
다음으로 유아교사의 문화자본, 감성지능, 미술 교수내용지식 간의 상호관
련성을 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 상호간에
는 서로 밀접한 정적 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 문화자본과 감성지능
에서 감성지능의 하위영역인 감성조절을 제외한 모든 부분에 유의미한 정적
상관이 있으며 문화자본과 미술 교수내용지식, 감성지능과 미술 교수내용지
식 전체에서도 매우 밀접한 관련성이 있음을 알 수 있었다.
마지막으로 유아교사의 문화자본과 감성지능이 미술 교수내용지식에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 정적인 영향
을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 유아교사의 문화자본과 감성지능이 높을수록
미술 교수내용지식과 하위영역인 교육과정, 교과내용, 교수학습방법지식이 높
은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유아교사의 문화자본과 감성지능이 미술 교수내용
지식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 주요 예측 변인임을 알 수 있다. 특히 유아
교사의 감성지능이 문화자본에 비해 미술 교수내용지식의 하위영역인 교육과
정, 교과내용, 교수학습방법지식에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 높았다.
유아교사의 문화자본과 감성지능에 관한 연구들은 있으나 문화자본, 감성
지능, 미술 교수내용지식 간의 관계를 살펴본 연구는 없었다. 본 연구는 유아
교사의 문화자본과 감성지능, 미술 교수내용지식 간의 관계를 살펴봄으로써
유아교사의 문화자본과 감성지능의 영향력을 살펴본 것에 그 의의가 있다.
따라서 유아교사의 문화자본은 물론 감성지능의 중요성을 인식시키고 이를
통해 미술교수내용지식의 질 향상과 더불어 유아교육의 질적 향상을 높이게
되기를 기대한다.
