The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of badminton member on knowledge, attitude and safety consciousness according to CPR education. After the approval of PNU IRB / 2017_112_HR by P University, 300 questionnaires were distributed to 300 people who want to participate in this study for those who have been educated for 3 hours or more among the badminton association of U City Badminton Federation 273 parts were used except for 27 pieces of unfaithful materials.
The research tools used in this study consisted of 3 items of demographic characteristics, 2 items of CPR Education, 8 items of Knowledge, 11 items of Attitude, and 32 items of Safety Consciousness. For data analysis SPSS Ver. 23.0 Program was used. To verify reliability of measurement instrument Cronbach`s α was applied. Frequency Analysis was conducted to identify demographic and CPR Educational of sample. To identify whether there were any difference on Knowledge, Attitude, and Safety Consciousness according to CPR Education, One-Way ANOVA and post hoc Duncan test were conducted. To examine association between Knowledge, Attitude, and Safety Consciousness, Pearson Correlation Analysis was conducted. The alpha of the statistical significant level was 0.05 for testing all hypotheses. The results of this study were as follows;

1. Knowledge according to CPR Educational
1) As CPR Education time of Badminton club member increased, the level of Knowledge was high. After post hoc test, ‘5-6 times’ had higher level than ‘2 times’, and ‘2 times’ had higher than ‘1 time’.
2) As lag time after final Education was shorter, the level of Knowledge was high. After post hoc test, less than ‘1 year’ had higher level than ‘1-2 years’, ‘2-3 years’, and over ‘4 years’.

2. Attitude according to CPR Educational
1) There was statistically non-significant difference on Attitude according to CPR Education time of Badminton club member.
2) As lag time after final Education was shorter, the level of Attitude was high. After post hoc test, less than ‘1 year’ had higher level than ‘2-3 years’ and ‘3-4 years’ had higher level than ‘3-4 years’.

3. Safety Consciousness according to CPR Educational
1) As CPR Education time of Badminton club member increased, the level of Fire Safety was high whereas there were statistically non-significant difference on Living Safety and Disaster Safety. After post hoc test, ‘5-6 times’ and over ‘7 times’ had higher than ‘1 time’ and ‘2 times’.
2) As lag time after final Education was shorter, the level of Living Safety and Disaster Safety were high whereas there was statistically non-significant difference on fire safety. After post hoc test, less than ‘1 year’ and ‘1-2 years’, ‘2-3 years’, and over ‘4 years’ had higher level than ‘3-4 years’.

4. Correlation between CPR Knowledge, Attitude, and Safety Consciousness.
1) CPR Knowledge positively correlated with Living Safety and Fire Safety among Attitude and Safety Consciousness.
2) CPR Attitude positively correlated with Safety Consciousness.
3) There were statistically significant correlation between sub-factors among Safety Consciousness.

In conclusion, The higher the number of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training for badminton member, the higher Knowledge and Safety Consciousness of Fire Safety. The shorter the period after the last training, the higher the Knowledge, Attitude, Safety Consciousness of Life Safety and Disaster Safety. Therefore, it is very important to actively promote the importance of retraining for CPR. Based on the results of this study, further research will be carried out on qualitative studies such as quantitative research, in-depth interviews, and interviews with people participating in a variety of lifestyle sports including badminton member. If the study is in-depth and systematic, And it is thought that it will help health promotion.
