The purpose of this study was intended to investigate the relationship among participation motivation, fun factor, study satisfaction and continuance intention to sports in university golf class based on psychology theory, and hypothetical models, then after, i examined the cause-effect relationship between variables through means of structural equation model.
The subjects of this research were the clients who are using the university golf class located in the vicinity of Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do and 364 subjects were sampled through convenience sampling method. For processing data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and correlation analysis were performed by using SPSS 18.0 program, and structural equation model analysis was performed by using AMOS 20.0 program. Based on the research methods and data analysis as above, the conclusions have been derived as follows:
First, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 1, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .823(t=7.954) and the hypothesis ‘The participation motivation of university golf class has a significant effect on the fun factor'' was adopted.
Second, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 2, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .326(t=2.150) and the hypothesis ‘The participation motivation of university golf class has a significant effect on the study satisfaction'' was adopted.
Third, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 3, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .075(t=.669) and the hypothesis ‘The participation motivation of university golf class has a significant effect on the continuance intention to sports'' was not adopted.
Forth, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 4, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .660(t=4.658) and the hypothesis ‘The fun factor has a significant effect on the study satisfaction'' was adopted.
Fifth, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 5, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .344(t=3.006) and the hypothesis ‘The fun factor has a significant effect on the continuance intention to sports'' was adopted.
Sixth, as a result of the analysis of hypothesis 6, the value of path coefficient between two factors was .573(t=7.634) and the hypothesis ‘The study satisfaction has a significant effect on the continuance intention to sports'' was adopted.
